Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between BabyJay Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Red kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn throws a lazy uppercut
and Scott counters with a series of strikes. Penn will be more careful next time no doubt.
Penn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Scott tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Penn paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Penn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Penn showed some decent athleticism there.
Scott pushes Penn off looking to stand but Penn dives back in and keeps control.
Scott is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scott can do anything to dispel that myth.
Penn is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Scott as he works his way to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Penn is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Scott is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Scott has escaped and now he's on top!

Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Penn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Scott chips away with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Scott sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Penn doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Scott paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Penn - great work!
