Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gaza looking for a takedown here - he's got it. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Gaza slips nicely into half guard. Gaza takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Gaza has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gaza passes the guard and advances to mount! Gaza gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Fox wants to clinch and Gaza counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gaza slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Gaza might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Damar Gaza hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Gaza throws a push kick but Fox slaps the foot to one side. Fox tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gaza swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gaza shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fox is trying to defend but Gaza finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gaza has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gaza controlling from mount. Fox tries to hold on but Gaza pushes him away. Gaza takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gaza stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Fox blocks the body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gaza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fox moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gaza closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Gaza is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fox gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Gaza tries to score a body lock takedown but Fox shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Fox gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Gaza avoids a wild elbow strike from Fox. Gaza jumps guard but Fox turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. James Fox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damar Gaza. Gaza is stalling here.
Gaza tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fox just stands there and leans against the cage. Gaza looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gaza gets control of Fox's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gaza will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Gaza has Fox pulled in close to control his posture. Gaza wriggles free and stands up. Fox tries to clinch but Gaza moves out of range. Gaza circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fox wants to clinch up but Gaza keeps it at a distance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fox tries to clinch there but Gaza circles away.

Gaza fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gaza scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Fox takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Gaza is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fox is trying to get back to half guard. Gaza working the ground and pound. Gaza content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gaza stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fox looks to clinch and Gaza counters with a single leg into guard. Fox didn't expect that. Gaza stands up from guard. Let's bang! Gaza misses with a body kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gaza circles away from the clinch attempt and Gaza counters with a head kick that wobbles Fox - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Gaza sends him down. This one is all over!
