Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tom Mot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mot comes into the arena with Be Aggresive by Faith No More blaring out of the sound system. Soto has chosen Busta Rhymes Feat Eminem - I'll Hurt You as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Tom Mot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luiz Soto! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mot throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Mot moves into the clinch successfully.
Soto goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mot prevents it.
Soto has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mot avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Mot lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Soto backwards. Soto changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mot fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Tom Mot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luiz Soto. Nice takedown defense from Mot. No joy for Soto on that attempt. Mot moves out of range as Soto strikes. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Soto. Soto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mot slaps away a takedown attempt from Soto, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mot scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mot takes a swing at Soto's ribcage but misses. Soto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mot's waist but Mot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Soto off to one side. Soto drives through with a takedown into guard. Soto throws an elbow that misses. Mot uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Soto's guard. Nice move by Mot!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mot postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Soto looking for a guillotine here but Mot defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mot trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Soto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mot is in close to Soto's body, working some short punches and elbows. Mot has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Soto wants to sweep but no luck. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Soto is on top in guard.
Soto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Soto with a flurry of punches that miss. Mot has momentary wrist control but Soto slips an elbow through the middle. Mot avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Soto loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mot bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Soto's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Soto is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mot has his hands clasped together but Soto extends and breaks Mot's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Soto.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Luiz Soto! Luiz Soto seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
