Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reece Edward Duenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duenas has chosen California Gurls as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Duenas if he has to take too many more of those.
Duenas moves into range and connects with a jab.

Duenas rushes Morgan and presses him up against the cage.

Duenas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morgan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morgan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Duenas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morgan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morgan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Duenas sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Duenas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Morgan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Duenas has managed to get both his arms back between Morgan's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Morgan throws a nice looking combination but Duenas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Duenas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Morgan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Duenas scrambles back to his feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Duenas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Morgan - the referee stops the clock and Duenas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Morgan. Duenas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dexter Morgan.
Well Morgan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
