Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between RC King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Schulz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, RC King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Schulz! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Schulz sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Schulz is looking for a sweep. King is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Schulz kicks King off and gets back to his feet. Schulz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Schulz wants to stand but King is controlling the position. Schulz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Schulz is trying to hold King in close to prevent damage but King has managed to pass into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. King is looking for a kimura but Schulz is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for King to get the leverage. King is working for a submission of some sort.
King is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Schulz sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Schulz trying to control from the bottom.
Schulz is trying to control but King manages to pass to mount!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Schulz tries to lock up and control but King gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. King swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Schulz is now in King's guard. A big mistake from King there, giving up the dominant position! King pulls Schulz in close to his closed guard and prevents Schulz from doing any damage or advancing position. Schulz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. King closes the distance and clinches up with Schulz, looking for a takedown. King pushes Schulz against the cage but Schulz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. King shoots for a takedown but Schulz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. King shoots in for a takedown but Schulz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for RC King. That's going to take a lot out of him. King gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Schulz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Schulz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. King keeping hold of Schulz's head, controlling as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dan Schulz will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
King gets the takedown into side control. King goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Schulz rolls with the submission and now he's on top in King's guard! Nice work there by Schulz! Schulz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Schulz works a leg free and moves into half guard. Schulz missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Schulz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. King regains full guard. Nicely done. Schulz tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. King wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. King shoots in looking for a takedown. Schulz tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schulz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice takedown defense from Schulz. No joy for King on that attempt. King will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for RC King. That's going to take a lot out of him. King changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schulz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schulz is looking to reverse the position. Schulz struggling a bit here. King tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no King has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Schulz is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schulz gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Schulz looking for submissions off his back. Schulz wants to improve his position but King is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schulz moves into full guard.
King pushing down on Schulz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that RC King will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
King scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schulz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but King wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. King prevents Schulz from escaping the position. Schulz is looking to reverse the position. King thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Schulz tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. King is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Schulz has escaped the position, nice work there. Schulz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Schulz tries to roll over but King keeps him under control. King is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round. King is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Schulz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time King. Schulz is defending against the submission attempts here by King.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Schulz is trying to maintain the position but King is very close to passing his half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to RC King. I think King has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
