Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Estie Langlaise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's entrance music is 2nd Sucks- ADTR. A fine choice. Langlaise has chosen Pepe et sa guitare Le mangeux de bine as his entrance music. Jay Jones has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jay Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Estie Langlaise! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots for a takedown but Langlaise saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Langlaise keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Langlaise throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Langlaise lands a nice shot to the body.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Langlaise.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Langlaise tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Langlaise manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Langlaise avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Langlaise, as that shot connected.
Jones fails with the takedown and Langlaise moves into the clinch. Jones jumps guard and drags Langlaise to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Langlaise throwing strikes but missing. Langlaise postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Langlaise is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Langlaise trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Langlaise is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jones keeping moving, preventing Langlaise from controlling successfully.
Estie Langlaise has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Jones looking to score a takedown here. Langlaise is defending well but Jones drives through and ends up in Langlaise's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Langlaise bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard. Langlaise lands a couple of decent looking shots. Langlaise pushing down on Jones's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Langlaise content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones actively working from the bottom here. Jones is breathing heavily. Langlaise is just content to waste time from the top position. Jones takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Langlaise controlling from the top position. Langlaise must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Langlaise really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Langlaise wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Estie Langlaise. Langlaise tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Langlaise sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Langlaise connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Estie Langlaise dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Langlaise's waist but Langlaise gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side. Langlaise scores with a jab to the body. Langlaise punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch. Langlaise gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Langlaise lands a nice shot to the body. Langlaise lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A short uppercut from Langlaise. Langlaise works on Jones's body with a couple of short punches. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Langlaise tries a body shot but Jones blocks it.
Langlaise lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jones backwards. Langlaise digs a right hand underneath Jones's ribcage. Jones let out a lung full of air as it connected. Langlaise pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Langlaise lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jones or not. Langlaise struggles to land a body shot inside as Jones controls his hands.
The referee is keeping an eye on Langlaise - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Jones seems to have got his legs back now. Langlaise stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Langlaise softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Langlaise lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards. Langlaise misses with a hook to the ribs.
Langlaise lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jones backwards. Langlaise lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jones or not. Langlaise presses Jones against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Langlaise throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Langlaise. Langlaise has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nice body punch from Langlaise - that landed with a thud.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Langlaise. Langlaise drops Jones onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Jones is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Langlaise leaning his opponent against the cage. Langlaise throws a big uppercut that drops Jones! More strikes from Langlaise and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Jones lies dazed against the cage as Langlaise celebrates with his cornermen!
