Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrea Carnevale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filip Rumia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carnevale comes into the arena with Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carnevale gets a clinch.
The referee calls for Carnevale to work.
Rumia avoids a wild elbow strike from Carnevale.
Carnevale presses Rumia against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Carnevale controlling the action here for a moment.
A right handed body shot lands from Carnevale.
Good body shot from Carnevale.
Rumia gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Carnevale.
Rumia tries to break free but Carnevale pushes him back against the cage.
Rumia tries to pull guard but Carnevale holds him up against the cage and eventually Rumia drops back down to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carnevale lands an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rumia takes a shot to the head.
Carnevale breaks from the clinch.
Good shot there by Carnevale.
Rumia takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rumia closes the distance looking to clinch
and Carnevale counters with a crisp right that sends Rumia to the canvas! Carnevale follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrea Carnevale!
A relieved looking Andrea Carnevale thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
