0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Gracie! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim is looking to clinch. Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Kim sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kim wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance. Kim misses with a looping right. Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kim. Good work by Kim as he checks the leg kick. Kim throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it. Kim fails in his attempt to clinch. Kim throws a jab when Gracie was well out of range. Kim throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie scores with a takedown into Kim's guard. Gracie wants to control from the top but Kim keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Kim throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kim loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch. Kim misses with a straight right. Gracie slips under a jab from Kim. Gracie fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kim checks it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kim scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Kim shows good takedown defense. David Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Gracie. Kim misses with a hook. Gracie ducked under it nicely. Kim is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kim waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Gracie. Gracie moves out of range as Kim strikes. Kim tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kim misses with a body shot.
Kim is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie. Kim looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kim.

Kim throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kim is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Kim fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Kim shows good takedown defense. Kim misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming. Kim throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kim throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kim looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range. A slow jab from Kim misses its intended target. Bob Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Gracie is controlling the pace.
Gracie wants to control but Kim is keeping him busy. Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kim is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold. Gracie wants to take a breather but Kim is having none of it.

You can see the frustration on Kim's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Well, with Gracie on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Kim is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Kim is working hard here to advance position. Kim prevents Gracie from getting a body triangle.

He has one arm under the chin but Kim has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Gracie struggling to keep hold of the position.

Bob Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Gracie slips under a jab from Kim. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gracie, right into the meat.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Kim, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Kim against the cage but Kim circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kim is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Kim's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Kim thows a body shot but no joy. Gracie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kim. Kim is looking to clinch. Kim loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch.

The fighters circling - Kim throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kim connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Gracie throws a leg kick but Kim sees it coming and moves out of range. Kim stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet. Kim throws a hook but Gracie blocks it. Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.

Kim tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kim to the ground. Kim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gracie moves away from the strike by Kim. The fighters circling - Kim throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kim misses with a few strikes there.
Kim throws a hook but Gracie blocks it. An inside leg kick from Gracie misses. Kim misses with a hook. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kim throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Kim. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And that's the end of the fight! David Kim showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kim has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
