The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laguna jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fiendish throws the left hand but Laguna avoids the punch easily.
Laguna cracks Fiendish with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fiendish steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Laguna.
Laguna throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Laguna thows a body shot but no joy.
Fiendish avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fiendish gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Marty Laguna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fiendish blocks a jab.
Laguna scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Laguna swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A telegraphed right hand from Laguna misses the target.
Laguna is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fiendish slips a jab from Laguna.
Laguna throws a hook to the side of Fiendish's head but Fiendish sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fiendish looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fiendish throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fiendish throws a hook but Laguna avoids it easily.

Fiendish gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Fiendish looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Fiendish frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fiendish thowing shots but they're missing.
Fiendish trying to control but Laguna is having none of it.
Fiendish lands a heavy elbow.
Laguna is desperately trying to improve his position but Fiendish has a good base and remains in mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Laguna can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fiendish lands a nice shot to the head.
Fiendish controlling from the full mount.
Fiendish thowing shots but they're missing.
Laguna is trying to escape the mount.
Laguna taking shots to the head.
Fiendish with shots to the head and body - Laguna looks very uncomfortable down there.

Laguna is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fiendish is landing with some decent strikes but Laguna is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Laguna is still in real trouble! Can Fiendish finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fiendish connects with a bit shot that sees Laguna covering up! More strikes from Fiendish and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Fiendish is our winner by TKO!
