The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Joseph does it's job there.
Joseph scores with a crisp jab that stopped Nascimento in his tracks.
Joseph throws a big shot that misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nascimento lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Joseph has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Joseph and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Joseph throws a solid leg kick but Nascimento takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Joseph.

Joseph throws out a loose jab but Nascimento uses good head movement to avoid it.

Joseph lands a leg kick that knocks Nascimento off balance momentarily.
Crunch! Nascimento slams his shin into Joseph's torso.
Nascimento wants to slow Joseph down by chopping away at his legs.
Nascimento cracks Joseph with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

It looks like Anthony Joseph has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Joseph pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nascimento fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nascimento misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Joseph steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Nascimento. That one must have hurt.
Joseph fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nascimento takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Joseph digs a good hook to Nascimento's body.
A big left from Nascimento misses.
Nascimento looks to land a left hand but Joseph moved out of range nicely.
Joseph throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Nascimento lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fighters circle momentarily. Nascimento darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nascimento avoids the head kick by Joseph.
Joseph scores with a shot to the body.
Joseph takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Nascimento turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Nascimento cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Nascimento drops Joseph with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Joseph looks back up at him and smiles so Nascimento waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Joseph is rocked!
Joseph glances at the clock... BAM! Nascimento nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Joseph crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Joseph is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

A relieved looking Cristiano Nascimento thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
