Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Seth Jakobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luan Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luan Pereira struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira misses with a looping left.
Pereira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jakobs as he jumps to the side.
Jakobs leaves Pereira with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pereira stuffs the takedown attempt from Jakobs. Jakobs gets slowly back to his feet.
Jakobs shoots in looking for a takedown but Pereira manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jakobs's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Pereira is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
