The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ottosson scores with a jab.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Ottosson enables Paredes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ottosson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Ottosson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Paredes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Andreas Ottosson has been cut.
Ottosson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Paredes defends it nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ottosson lands with an overhand left.
Paredes stuffs the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ottosson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ottosson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ottosson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Paredes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ottosson.
Ottosson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Paredes swivels and escapes.
Ottosson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Ottosson misses with a lunging right hand
and Paredes counters with a straight right hand.
Ottosson is rocked!
Paredes closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Ottosson! Paredes dives in looking to finish! Ottosson is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
