Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Nieddds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Benevides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benevides has a takedown stuffed.
Nieddds throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nieddds tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Benevides was well out of range. Poor timing from Nieddds.
Benevides fails with a takedown attempt.
Benevides closes the distance and clinches up with Nieddds, looking for a takedown. Benevides pushes Nieddds against the cage but Nieddds circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bobby Nieddds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Benevides.

Benevides changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nieddds tries to avoid it but Benevides manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nieddds to the ground. Nieddds escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Benevides shoots for a double leg takedown but Nieddds sprawls well. He's pushed Benevides's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Benevides with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nieddds to score with a decent uppercut.

Dave Benevides seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Nieddds counters with a series of strikes. Benevides will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nieddds fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Nieddds lands a left and a right that send Benevides crashing to the mat, dazed. Nieddds thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Nieddds dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Benevides takes one to the side of the head.
Nieddds is looking to wear down Benevides with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Nieddds avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Benevides gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nieddds.
Nieddds fakes the body blow, causing Benevides to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Benevides goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
