The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borisov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Boyko Borisov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borisov throws a right and a left that Geissen avoids nicely.
Borisov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Geissen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Borisov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Geissen was well out of range. Poor timing from Borisov.

Geissen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Borisov lands a really nice looking cross but Geissen seems unphased.
Borisov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Geissen circles away quickly and effectively.

Borisov looks to land a combination. Geissen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Borisov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Geissen manages to avoid it.

Borisov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Geissen on his heels. He'll look to pass Geissen's guard now, I'm sure.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Borisov is looking to work some ground and pound but Geissen has wrist control.

Geissen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Borisov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Geissen thumps Borisov with a low kick.

Geissen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Geissen cracks Borisov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Geissen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Borisov to stand back up!

Oh Borisov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Borisov drops his hands momentarily and Geissen needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Borisov just on the top of the head. Borisov drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Borisov - he's done!
