Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chis Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Curtis House!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hall changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. House looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
House manages to get back to half guard.
House tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Hall has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
House's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Hall fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
House wants to hold on but Hall pushes him away.
Hall lands a nice shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hall looking to control but House is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Hall avoids the attempt from House to control.

House is trying to stand up.
House is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
House is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hall is staying active.
Hall can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as House is looking to escape.
House tries to hold on but Hall pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hall is looking to stand but Hall has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Hall is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, House has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Poor strikes thrown by Hall there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
House wants to hold on but Hall pushes him away.
Hall tries to control but House wriggling away.
House is looking to get to half guard.
House regains half guard.

Hall tries to pass to full mount but House defends it.
Hall tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Hall takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
House pushes Hall off looking to stand but Hall dives back in and keeps control.
House tries to roll over but Hall keeps him under control.
Hall is trying to control the action in half guard but House is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Hall controlling the pace.
Hall seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
House blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hall.
House manages to get to full guard.
House has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hall wants to pass the guard but House is keeping the position.

House clinches.
House fails to pull guard.
House tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hall just stands there and leans against the cage.

House jumps guard and drags Hall to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hall tries to stand but House is controlling from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
House has a closed guard, preventing Hall from standing up.

Hall avoids a series of strikes thrown by House.
Hall on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hall tries to get out of the position.

House is keen to just control but Hall is a slippery customer.
Hall is trying to control but House passes into side control!
Hall tries to get back to half guard but can't.

House stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Hall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as House sprawls well. House wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hall gets slowly back to his feet.

Hall wants to clinch.
Hall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as House checks a leg kick.
Hall tries to clinch up.
Hall shoots in but no luck this time.
Hall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chis Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

House fails with a takedown attempt.
House stuffs the takedown.

House clinches up against the cage.

Hall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hall throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. House was covering up waiting for the punch and Hall finishes the takedown easily into guard.
House trying to control the position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as House holds on and takes a little breather.

House is trying to keep Hall in close.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
House looking to control but Hall passes into half guard.
House trying to get back to full guard but Hall takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
House can't escape the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Curtis House will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Hall tries a head kick but it misses.
Hall shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. House defends it nicely.

Hall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hall lands in his opponent's guard.
Hall wants to control from the top but House keeps moving.
Hall looking to pass the guard.
Hall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Hall stopping the sweep attempt from House.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

We're going to have a standup here because Chis Hall wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

House fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hall, pushing him back against the cage.
Hall is looking to control House's arms but House gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hall has his back to the cage.

House is trying to force a seperation but Hall has the dominant position.
Hall jumps guard but House stands there with Hall around his waist. Hall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hall tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. House smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chis Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hall looks for a takedown but House sprawls well.
House displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hall.
Horrible takedown by House or perhaps it was just good defense by Hall which made him look bad.
House tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hall swivels and escapes.

Hall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
House keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully.

House kicks Hall off and gets to his feet.
Chis Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hall scores with a takedown into House's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hall postures up in House's guard and throws a big left but House blocks it.

Hall wants to control from the top but House keeps moving.
House seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
House is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. House swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Chis Hall showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hall has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
