Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Hembdo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Romeo Paris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hembdo comes to the cage accompanied by my balls your chin. Paulo Hembdo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paulo Hembdo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kobe Romeo Paris! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hembdo misses with a takedown and Paris counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hembdo stuffs the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Paris as Hembdo shoots in. Paris tries to clinch but Hembdo is having none of it. Hembdo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Paris looks for the body kick but Hembdo saw that one coming. Paris leaves Hembdo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Hembdo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hembdo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Paris's waist but Paris gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hembdo off to one side. Paris lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Paris wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hembdo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Paris is looking to clinch. Hembdo throws a solid leg kick but Paris takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hembdo. Hembdo tries to clinch up but Paris circles away and keeps his distance. Paulo Hembdo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hembdo looks for a takedown but Paris sprawls well. Hembdo tries to keep at a distance but Paris has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hembdo has had enough of the clinch but Paris keeps him there for the moment. Hembdo is working for takedown but Paris is calmly controlling the position for now. Paris keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hembdo's efforts to push away. Paris goes for a takedown attempt but Hembdo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hembdo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Paris counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Paris decides to pull guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hembdo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Paris has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hembdo doesn't defend quickly enough and Paris has managed to lock this one up! Can Hembdo escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Paris on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kobe Romeo Paris! After the fight, Kobe Romeo Paris was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
