Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brett Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clase Bruto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruto has chosen I Will Not Bow as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Clase Bruto will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bruto is fending him off so far but Long persists. Nope, Bruto circles away and we're back to standing.
Bruto keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Long shoots in for a double leg but Bruto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brett Long. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bruto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Long really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Bruto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Long as he jumps to the side.
Long closes the distance and clinches up with Bruto, looking for a takedown. Long pushes Bruto against the ropes but Bruto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Bruto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Long avoids the attempt from Bruto to control.
Long swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bruto is now in Long's guard. A big mistake from Long there, giving up the dominant position!

Clase Bruto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Long had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bruto is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Long Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bruto's back instead.
Long is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Bruto taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Long.
