Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Bain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fred Martial Delicat!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Martial Delicat as Bain shoots in.
Martial Delicat checks a low kick from Bain.
Bain missing with a left hand there. Martial Delicat was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bain throws a nice looking combination but Martial Delicat bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bain shoots in looking for a takedown. Martial Delicat tries to sprawl out of it but Bain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Martial Delicat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Martial Delicat takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Martial Delicat moves away from the strike by Bain.
Martial Delicat tries to keep at a distance but Bain has taken the fight into the clinch.
Martial Delicat has picked Bain up - he's going for a ride! Martial Delicat dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Martial Delicat sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bain defending well though.
Bain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Martial Delicat's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Martial Delicat's back!
Martial Delicat has hold of Bain's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts.
Bain misses with punches from the back.
Martial Delicat has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Martial Delicat rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Bain has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Martial Delicat bucks up and throws Bain to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Martial Delicat is looking to clinch.
Bain tries a head kick but it misses.
Martial Delicat looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Martial Delicat prevents Bain from improving his position.
Bain scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Martial Delicat manages to mount him!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Martial Delicat cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Martial Delicat is landing with some decent strikes but Bain is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Martial Delicat has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martial Delicat is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bain can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martial Delicat on the ground.

Bain on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bain tries to get out of the position.

Martial Delicat lands a big shot there that rocks Bain but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Bain wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Martial Delicat.

Bain tries to reverse the position but Martial Delicat maintains control.

Bain is looking to improve his position but Martial Delicat isn't that keen on the idea.
Martial Delicat stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Martial Delicat is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Martial Delicat pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bain moves out of range of the body kick from Martial Delicat.
Martial Delicat looks to land a body kick but Bain moved away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A nice combination there by Bain.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bain is defended easily by Martial Delicat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Bain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Martial Delicat connects with a leg kick. Bain looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Martial Delicat dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bain throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Martial Delicat counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Martial Delicat escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Martial Delicat closes the distance and pushes Bain back into the cage.

Martial Delicat wants to stand up but Bain is controlling him.
Bain throws a strike but Martial Delicat rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bain looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Martial Delicat passes Bain's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Martial Delicat perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Martial Delicat is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bain is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
