Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mario Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mario Hawk looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sonny Dixon! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hawk looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Dixon has Hawk up against the cage in a clinch.
Hawk working hard to break the clinch. Hawk tries to break the clinch but Dixon is controlling the position. Dixon works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Dixon gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Hawk shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dixon defends it nicely. Dixon gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dixon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dixon throws a head kick that misses. Dixon closes the distance and clinches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dixon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hawk ducks under a wild hook from Dixon. Dixon moves into the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Dixon with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knees in the clinch landing for Dixon.
Hawk has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Dixon taking a breather. Dixon misses with a short punch on the inside. Dixon breaks from the clinch.
Dixon clinches up against the cage. Dixon displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hawk up against the cage. Hawk tries to break the clinch but Dixon is controlling the position. Hawk is trying to break free. Dixon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dixon tries a head kick but it misses.
Dixon plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Hawk misses with a looping right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Dixon instigates a clinch. Dixon trying to control the position but instead, Hawk has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dixon into the cage. Dixon misses with a knee to the head. Dixon lands a left hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dixon controlling the action here for a moment.
The crowd are getting on Dixon's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Dixon throws a knee to the head but misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk tries to work over Dixon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hawk really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dixon manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dixon continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Hawk tries to break free but Dixon pushes him back against the cage. Dixon misses with a knee strike.

Dixon turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Dixon taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk tries to bench press Dixon off him but Dixon keeps the position. Dixon looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hawk is avoiding damage well.
Hawk wants to get back to his feet. Hawk is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dixon decides to stand back up. This has been an exciting period of action! Hawk tries to keep at a distance but Dixon has taken the fight into the clinch. Dixon misses with a knee to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dixon misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Dixon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hawk throws a combination. Dixon tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Dixon clinches with his opponent.

Dixon has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hawk is trying to keep an underhook but Dixon manages to get the takedown into half guard. Dixon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hawk defending well though. Hawk is staying active underneath Dixon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dixon not landing any meaningful shots this time. Dixon is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawk has one foot on Dixon's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Dixon gets in close and instigates a clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk tries to circle away but Dixon has him pinned against the cage. Dixon lands a nice knee to the body. Hawk blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Hawk on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Dixon stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Dixon is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hawk is keeping busy. Hawk tries a body shot but Dixon blocks it.
Dixon is pushing Hawk up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Sonny Dixon seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Dixon working Hawk over with knees to the body. Dixon has Hawk pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dixon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hawk tumbling to the mat - Dixon dives into Hawk's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dixon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dixon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dixon trying to control but Hawk is working from the bottom. Sonny Dixon has got the better of the ground game so far. Hawk wants to control but Dixon passes easily into half guard.
Dixon content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Dixon stands up from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon pushes Hawk up against the cage in a clinch. Dixon creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Dixon pulls guard successfully.
Dixon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hawk is looking to stand up but Dixon won't let him. Dixon has his feet on Hawk's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Hawk lands with a cross.

Dixon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hawk throws a looping overhand right but Dixon ducks down to avoid it. Dixon moves into range and clinches up with Hawk. Dixon utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Dixon is trying to maintain a safe position but Hawk gets an underhook and turns Dixon into the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawk wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sonny Dixon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Hawk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hawk's efforts to push away. Dixon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Dixon is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Hawk will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawk is not content to let Dixon control the position. Hawk pushes Dixon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dixon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Dixon fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hawk is looking to reverse the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dixon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hawk, who protects the arm well. Hawk is trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hawk's shoulder. That is not cool. Dixon stands up and we're back to a striking position. Dixon has Hawk up against the cage in a clinch.

Mario Hawk has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A right hand to the body from Hawk.
Dixon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hawk has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Dixon is trying to maintain a safe position but Hawk gets an underhook and turns Dixon into the cage. Hawk drags the fight down to the ground.
Dixon stands and steps away. Hawk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dixon takes the fight into the clinch. Dixon misses with an elbow over the top. Sonny Dixon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Dixon stalling against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawk is trying to force a seperation but Dixon has the dominant position. Dixon looking to slow down the pace here. Hawk misses with a hook to the ribs.
And that's the end of the fight! Sonny Dixon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dixon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
