The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hammer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hussey's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hammer tries to free his leg and advance position but Hussey is retaining full guard.
Hammer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hussey is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hussey has escaped and now he's on top!
Hammer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hussey defends well.
Hussey is looking to work some ground and pound but Hammer has wrist control.
Hammer looking for a triangle here. Hussey is fighting it but it looks tight! Hammer pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hussey is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Frank Hammer!
