Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peekay Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor O Donnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Noise Won't Stop. O Donnell has chosen Cant be touched as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Victor O Donnell enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peekay Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor O Donnell!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams cracks O Donnell with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Williams scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Williams is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
O Donnell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Williams.
O Donnell tries to kick Williams off but Williams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
O Donnell is not content to let Williams control the position.
Williams with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Williams is keen to just control but O Donnell is a slippery customer.
Williams tries to pass the half guard into mount. O Donnell knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Peekay Williams wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Williams shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A big right from O Donnell misses.
O Donnell moves out of range of the body kick from Williams.
O Donnell misses the shot to the body.

Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
O Donnell is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea.
Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
O Donnell looking for a sweep. Not yet O Donnell, not yet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Williams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as O Donnell works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
O Donnell has Williams pulled in close to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

O Donnell is looking to stand back up but Williams counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by O Donnell.
Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but O Donnell keeps working.
Williams is looking to advance position but O Donnell won't allow it.

O Donnell is not content to let Williams control the position.

O Donnell is trying to stand back up but Williams is controlling him

Williams is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Williams is looking to take a break and control but O Donnell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
O Donnell blocking the ground and pound attempt from Williams.
O Donnell is trying to stand up here but Williams is controlling him well.
Williams working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Williams thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
O Donnell looks like he's trying to stand up.
Williams controlling the action here.
Williams landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
O Donnell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Williams.
Williams thows a huge punch but O Donnell dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peekay Williams dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


O Donnell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but O Donnell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Williams scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
O Donnell takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
O Donnell thows a body shot but no joy.
O Donnell checks a leg kick.
Williams feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits O Donnells jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
O Donnell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away.
Williams connects with a crisp jab.
O Donnell just misses with a punch to the body.
Williams slips a jab from O Donnell.
Sloppy strikes from Williams. Those never looked like landing.
A jab from Williams does it's job there.
Williams fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches O Donnell on the side of the head.
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Williams cracks O Donnell with a right hand to the side of the head.
O Donnell throws a combination. Williams tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams misses the shot to the body.

Williams drives through with a takedown into O Donnell's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
O Donnell wants to sweep but no luck.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams is standing up over O Donnell. O Donnell looks to escape but Williams dives into side control.
Williams tries to advance to mount but O Donnell denies him.
Williams misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Williams wants to control for a moment but O Donnell uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Williams passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for O Donnell!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt O Donnell bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Williams and the fight is over!
