Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Vindemarlongus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Stallion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kirk Vindemarlongus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Juan Stallion!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vindemarlongus avoids the head kick by Stallion.
Stallion pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Vindemarlongus counters with a head kick. That will keep Stallion thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Vindemarlongus checks a leg kick.

Vindemarlongus drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Vindemarlongus advances to half guard.
Vindemarlongus perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Stallion is staying active underneath Vindemarlongus, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Vindemarlongus is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stallion defends it well.

Vindemarlongus is keen to just control but Stallion is a slippery customer.

Stallion cracks Vindemarlongus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Vindemarlongus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Stallion misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stallion throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Good exchange - Stallion coming out on top.
Stallion tries a head kick but it misses.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Vindemarlongus.
Vindemarlongus in side control lands a decent elbow.
The ground and pound from Vindemarlongus seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Vindemarlongus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Stallion seems a little lost for a moment, as Vindemarlongus dominates the positioning.

Stallion has a couple of punches blocked by Vindemarlongus.
Vindemarlongus's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Stallion tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Stallion swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Stallion is trying to break free.
Vindemarlongus wants to take the fight to the mat but Stallion manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Stallion lands a nice shot to the body.
Vindemarlongus blocks a body shot from Stallion.
Stallion lands on the inside with an uppercut.
A left hand lands to the body for Stallion.

Vindemarlongus breaks from the clinch.
Stallion tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stallion misses with a head kick.
Stallion misses with a series of wild punches.
Stallion cracks Vindemarlongus with a right hand to the side of the head.
Vindemarlongus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vindemarlongus throws a head kick that half lands.
Stallion swinging wildly here.
Stallion fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vindemarlongus has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Vindemarlongus walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Stallion throws a head kick but Vindemarlongus moves out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Stallion. That snapped Vindemarlongus's head back.

Stallion tries to sprawl but Vindemarlongus drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vindemarlongus gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Juan Stallion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stallion throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stallion with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Vindemarlongus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stallion connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vindemarlongus scrambles back to his feet.
Stallion lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Stallion tries to keep at a distance but Vindemarlongus has taken the fight into the clinch.

Stallion breaks from the clinch.
Stallion misses with a head kick.
Stallion lands with a slapping head kick.
Donk. Stallion catches Vindemarlongus right on the button with a cross.
Vindemarlongus stalks Stallion and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stallion's face. Stallion staggers backwards, shaken.

Stallion tries a head kick but it misses.

Vindemarlongus goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Vindemarlongus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stallion but Stallion pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stallion scores with a head kick. Vindemarlongus tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Stallion misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vindemarlongus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Juan Stallion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Vindemarlongus is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stallion.
Stallion throws a sloppy head kick and Vindemarlongus moves out of range easily.

Stallion pushes Vindemarlongus away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Vindemarlongus gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Vindemarlongus moves forwards but Stallion connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Stallion throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stallion takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Stallion misses with a head kick.

Vindemarlongus feints and as Stallion raises his hands in defense, Vindemarlongus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Vindemarlongus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Vindemarlongus won't allow Stallion to get back to his feet.
Vindemarlongus trying to control but Stallion is working from the bottom.
Kirk Vindemarlongus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Stallion is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vindemarlongus is controlling him.
Vindemarlongus cracks Stallion with a solid left hand.
Stallion is looking to stand up but Vindemarlongus isn't so interested in that idea.
Vindemarlongus has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Vindemarlongus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stallion knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Stallion is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Vindemarlongus asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Vindemarlongus goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Stallion has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vindemarlongus but great work by Stallion.

Stallion stands up and beckons Vindemarlongus to his feet.
Vindemarlongus shoots in but no luck this time.
Stallion's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Stallion duly obliges.
Stallion thuds a left hand into Vindemarlongus's body.

Stallion slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Vindemarlongus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stallion as he jumps to the side.
Stallion tries a head kick but it misses.
Good shot there by Stallion.
Stallion works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Vindemarlongus takes a kick to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stallion wants to stand up but Vindemarlongus is controlling him.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kirk Vindemarlongus.
I think Vindemarlongus has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
