Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dallas Riley!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reilly, pushing him back against the cage.

Reilly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Reilly jabs Riley to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Reilly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Riley moves away.
Riley shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reilly defends it nicely.
Reilly throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Riley counters with a nice double leg into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Riley wanted to stand there but Reilly had control of the position.
Reilly looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Riley trying to control the position from guard on top but Reilly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reilly keeping full guard, as Riley tries to pass.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dallas Riley wasn't active enough on the ground.
Riley just misses with a punch to the body.
Reilly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Riley was well out of range. Poor timing from Reilly.
Reilly throws a jab but it's blocked by Riley.
Donk. Reilly catches Riley right on the button with a cross.
Reilly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Riley fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Riley tries to clinch up.
Riley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reilly avoids a kick to the body.
Riley is looking to clinch.
Riley shoots for a takedown but Reilly saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ray Reilly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dallas Riley.
Riley ducks under a wild hook from Reilly.
Reilly displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Riley.
Riley throws the left hand but Reilly avoids the punch easily.
Riley moves out of range of the strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Riley wants to clinch.
Riley throws a jab when Reilly was well out of range.

Riley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reilly sprawls well initially but Riley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Riley is controlling the pace.
Reilly is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Riley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Reilly controlling the position well.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Riley is keen to just control but Reilly is a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dallas Riley has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Reilly stuns Riley with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dallas Riley will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


The fight stays on the outside here - Riley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Riley tries for a takedown but Reilly sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Riley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reilly sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Riley somewhat.
Reilly moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Reilly plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Riley to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Riley just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ray Reilly!
