Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Duncan Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cooper takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cooper swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cooper slips a straight right by Machida.
Cooper will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Machida slips a jab and a cross from Cooper.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Duncan Cooper will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cooper lands with a nice combination. Machida backs away looking to recover.
Cooper smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Machida lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Cooper is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Machida scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Cooper is rocked!
Machida Throws a clean left jab. Machida Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Cooper's chin! Cooper crumbles to the ground and Machida follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Machida!
