Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flavio Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russo comes to the cage accompanied by Volbeat - The Human Instrument. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 35 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vinny Russo!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flavio Sandoval!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandoval lands a leg kick that knocks Russo off balance momentarily.

Sandoval walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Russo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Sandoval cracks Russo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Vinny Russo will probably get the nod.

Russo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sandoval has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Russo has managed to get both his arms back between Sandoval's legs - danger averted.
