The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong scores with a jab. Blunts acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Blunts slips under a jab from Hong.
Blunts moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Hong checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Hong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blunts moves away.

Blunts is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hong is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Blunts.

Blunts misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Blunts wants to control but Hong is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Blunts lands a nice short elbow.
Blunts wants to take a breather but Hong is having none of it.

Blunts is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hong manages to get to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blunts accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Blunts slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Blunts moves forwards but Hong connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Blunts does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hong tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Blunts is rocked!
Hong drops Blunts with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Blunts! Hong dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
