Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mr Miley Cyrus!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt looks for a takedown but Cyrus sprawls well.
Hunt moves into the clinch.
Hunt drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cyrus is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hunt gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Hunt lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cyrus backwards.
Hunt is working for takedown but Cyrus is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cyrus has Hunt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hunt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Hunt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cyrus is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hunt tries for a takedown but Cyrus manages to get underhooks.
Cyrus drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hunt pulls his leg out and moves away.
A head kick misses from Hunt.
Cyrus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hunt.
Hunt darts in trying to clinch
and Hunt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cyrus counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hunt is breathing heavily.
Hunt misses with a takedown attempt
and Cyrus counters with a shoot takedown. Hunt fights it but they end up in guard.
Cyrus stands and throws Hunt's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cyrus is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hunt looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cyrus gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hunt is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cyrus lets go of the hold and Hunt can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mr Miley Cyrus!
