And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pogi shoots in for a takedown but Thomas shows good takedown defense.
Thomas plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Thomas connects with an inside leg kick.
Thomas stuffs the takedown attempt from Pogi. Pogi gets slowly back to his feet.
Thomas lands a nice shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thomas slaps away a takedown attempt from Pogi, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Pogi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
An inside leg kick lands from Thomas.
Pogi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Thomas lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Thomas looks to land a right hand but Pogi moved out of range.
Thomas connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Thomas stuffs the takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Some wild striking there from Thomas.
Pogi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Oooooh!!! Thomas has knocked Pogi down with a huge combo! Thomas steps away and waves a wobbly Pogi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Pogi is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thomas weaves into range and cracks Pogi right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Pogi goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Thomas is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Karl Thomas!
