These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cyrus The Virus!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dandy clinches up with The Virus and pushes him back against the ropes.
The Virus breaks the clinch.
Dandy throws a shot from downtown. The Virus moves away and avoids it.
The Virus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dandy.
Dandy looks to throw the jab but The Virus is out of range.
Dandy misses with a right hand
and The Virus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Jim Dandy has been cut.
Dandy darts in and clinches The Virus up against the ropes.
The Virus is trying to force a seperation but Dandy has the dominant position.
Dandy digs a right hand underneath The Virus's ribcage. The Virus let out a lung full of air as it connected.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The Virus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The Virus slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Dandy misses with a hook
and The Virus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The Virus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The Virus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dandy.
The Virus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The Virus's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dandy under the eye.
Dandy is looking to clinch.
The Virus lands a big uppercut and Dandy crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Dandy looks OK. The Virus waves Dandy back to his feet!
Dandy is rocked!
Jim Dandy's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dandy swings widly with a right hand
and The Virus counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
