Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dewayne Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mirko Silva!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Silva cracks Bryant with a good jab.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bryant takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bryant.
Silva thuds a left hand into Bryant's body.

Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Bryant takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bryant shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Bryant's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Dewayne Bryant has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bryant quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Bryant but it's paid off an Silva is forced to tap! Nice work by Bryant.

In his post fight interview, Dewayne Bryant started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
