Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Berzins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Foot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Berzins could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Little Foot's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Berzins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Little Foot! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Berzins was well out of range. Poor timing from Foot. A jab from Foot misses. A telegraphed right hand from Foot misses the target. Berzins fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Foot to the ground. Berzins is now in Foot's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Berzins trying to control the position from guard on top but Foot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Foot is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Berzins is aware though and is defending well. Berzins looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Foot escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Berzins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Berzins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Berzins is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Berzins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Berzins looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Foot is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Berzins content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Berzins throws a strike aimed at the side of Foot's head but Foot avoids it well. Foot sneaks back into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Berzins seems content to control. Berzins seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Foot for as long as he can get away with. Berzins thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Berzins tries to pass to full mount but Foot defends it. Foot is looking for a sweep. Berzins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Berzins is looking for a kimura here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Foot blocking the ground and pound attempt from Berzins.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Berzins throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Berzins looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Berzins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Foot does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Berzins seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Foot avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Berzins.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Berzins misses with a head shot. Foot uses the momentum to regain guard. Berzins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Berzins stands and throws Foot's legs to the side, diving into side control. Foot gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Berzins unloads with some shots from mount but Foot bucks and avoids them well.
Berzins controlling the position easily from mount. Berzins landing strikes from the mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Berzins working for a guillotine from mount but Foot is in no mood to give up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Berzins dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Foot will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Little Foot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Berzins takes a swing at Foot's ribcage but misses. Berzins ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Berzins jabbing away but nothing is landing. Foot motions for Berzins to come forward. Foot throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A slow jab from Foot misses its intended target. Berzins takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Foot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Berzins moves away. Berzins throws a jab when Foot was well out of range. Berzins swings for the body but Foot moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Foot throws a looping overhand right but Berzins ducks down to avoid it. A jab from Foot finds it's way through Berzins's defenses. Foot lands a nice looking body shot.
Foot looks to throw the jab but Berzins is out of range. Foot stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Berzins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Berzins lands in his opponent's guard. Berzins controlling from the top position. Berzins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Berzins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Foot is not content to let Berzins control the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Foot is looking for a sweep. Berzins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Berzins tries for a kimura but Foot is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Berzins tries to score with some ground and pound. Foot controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Berzins looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Berzins sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Foot is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Berzins working away. The ground and pound from Berzins seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Berzins tries for a kimura but Foot is defending well. Berzins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Berzins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foot manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Berzins on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Berzins tries to get out of the position. Berzins is not content to let Foot control the position. Berzins is controlling Foot's position as best he can from this difficult position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Berzins trying to control but Foot postures up.
Berzins tries to get to full guard but Foot has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Berzins dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Foot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Berzins momentarily.
Berzins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Foot manages to avoid it. Foot throws a good cross that connects.
Foot throws a nice outside leg kick. Foot jabs Berzins right on the nose. Berzins blinks but takes it well. Foot scores with a hook. Foot tries for a takedown but Berzins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Foot lands with a good body shot. Berzins misses with a hook. Foot throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Berzins on the side of the head. Foot closes the distance and clinches up with Berzins, looking for a takedown. Foot pushes Berzins against the cage but Berzins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Berzins slips under a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foot plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Foot waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Berzins. Berzins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Berzins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Foot doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Berzins. Berzins is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Berzins stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Berzins is trying to control the action in half guard but Foot is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Josh Berzins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Berzins is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Berzins throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Foot to regain full guard. Berzins wants to control from the top but Foot keeps moving. Berzins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Berzins slips nicely into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Berzins wants to work for an arm triangle but Foot is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Josh Berzins. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Berzins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
