Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pietro Donatelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasi Palander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pasi Palander was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palander swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Palander lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Pietro Donatelli has been cut.
A right-left combo lands from Palander.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Palander misses with a wild combination.
Palander checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Donatelli throws a leg kick which misses Palander's front leg but catches the back leg as Palander tries to avoid it.

Palander on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Donatelli pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Donatelli avoids a punch combination nicely.
Donatelli thuds his shin into the meat of Palander's side.
Palander's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donatelli lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Donatelli lands a head kick. Palander smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Donatelli cracks the inside of Palander's front leg.
Donatelli buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Donatelli dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Palander. That did some damage!
Donatelli fakes the leg kick and cracks Palander in the body.
Donatelli lands a big head kick that sends Palander tumbling to the mat! Donatelli takes a step backwards and waves Palander back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Palander is rocked!
Palander walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Donatelli! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
