Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Fontana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Fontana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Demian Bisping! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Bisping with that takedown attempt. Fontana clinches. Bisping fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bisping tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fontana just stands there and leans against the cage. Jack Fontana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demian Bisping. Fontana is trying to trip Bisping. He has hold of a leg but Bisping is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Fontana persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Bisping is looking for a triangle here but Fontana uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Bisping manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bisping works his way to full guard. Good work. Bisping keeping full guard, as Fontana tries to pass. Bisping escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fontana gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fontana avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bisping throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Fontana postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fontana passes Bisping's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Bisping is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fontana pulls his head out easily. Bisping looks gassed! Fontana lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Fontana trying to control the pace. Fontana seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bisping for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bisping is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fontana's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fontana's back! Fontana looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Fontana defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bisping's arms. Fontana is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fontana is trying to get back to his feet but Bisping has full control of the position and if anything, Fontana has just worked his way into a worse spot. Fontana manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. Nice defenses there by Bisping. Fontana decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fontana works his way into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fontana controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bisping is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bisping is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Fontana dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Fontana changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bisping looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fontana wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bisping keeps working. Bisping avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fontana. Bisping is looking to reverse the position. Bisping tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Fontana presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fontana pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Fontana knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bisping on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fontana tries to control but Bisping wriggling away. Bisping is working to get back to half guard.

Fontana is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bisping has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fontana unloading with bombs! Bisping keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fontana has good solid back control here. Fontana has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bisping rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fontana is working for a kimura but Bisping is defending it quite comfortably.
Bisping looking for submissions off his back. Bisping moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bisping throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Jack Fontana dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bisping has his takedown stuffed and Fontana counters with a takedown into side control. Bisping is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Bisping slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bisping has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fontana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bisping looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fontana showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Fontana shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bisping had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fontana is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bisping Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fontana's back instead. Bisping looking for the RNC. Bisping looking for the choke from the back. Fontana needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation. Fontana is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bisping with a lazy takedown attempt and Fontana counters with a shoot takedown. Bisping fights it but they end up in guard. Fontana has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bisping looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bisping has his foot on Fontana's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fontana works his way back into a safe position though. Demian Bisping has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bisping throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Fontana escapes and throws Bisping's legs to the side, diving into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Fontana showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fontana has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
