Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Fatboy Slim - Right Here Right Now as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Joe Calzaghe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
25 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Calzaghe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Dave Lee!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee is looking to clinch.
Lee on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lee closes the distance but Calzaghe moves to the side
and Calzaghe counters with a nice body shot.
Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Calzaghe.
Calzaghe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lee gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Calzaghe has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lee after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Calzaghe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Calzaghe blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Calzaghe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lee tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Calzaghe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Calzaghe is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lee has escaped the position, nice work there.
Calzaghe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Calzaghe throws a strike aimed at the side of Lee's head but Lee avoids it well.

Calzaghe misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Calzaghe has hold of Lee's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lee tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Calzaghe cranks the arm and Lee screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lee, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Joe Calzaghe!
Joe Calzaghe got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
