Gimmick has chosen Rob Bailey & The Hustle Standard - Hungry as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gimmick feints and then cracks Petrova's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Petrova down.

Petrova throws a combination. Gimmick tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Petrova really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gimmick throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Petrova on the side of the head.

Gimmick tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Petrova manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Sasha Petrova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Petrova has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Gimmick lands with a big left! Petrova is wobbled badly! Gimmick comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Petrova to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
