Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chan Sung Jung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideyoshi Ozawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ozawa fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ozawa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sung Jung is fending him off so far but Ozawa persists. Nope, Sung Jung circles away and we're back to standing.
Sung Jung closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ozawa circles away.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Ozawa is trying to control but can't.
Ozawa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sung Jung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sung Jung shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ozawa's guard.

Sung Jung really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ozawa shoots in looking for a takedown. Sung Jung tries to sprawl out of it but Ozawa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sung Jung manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ozawa shoots in but no luck this time.

Sung Jung moves into the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sung Jung holds on and takes a little breather.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sung Jung throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ozawa was covering up waiting for the punch and Sung Jung finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Chan Sung Jung overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sung Jung is looking to take a break and control but Ozawa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Well, if Sung Jung is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Chan Sung Jung just wasn't active enough.
Ozawa closes the distance and clinches up with Sung Jung, looking for a takedown. Ozawa pushes Sung Jung against the cage but Sung Jung circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ozawa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ozawa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Sung Jung counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Chan Sung Jung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hideyoshi Ozawa.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ozawa moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Sung Jung cracks Ozawa with a solid left hand.

Sung Jung has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ozawa doesn't defend quickly enough and Sung Jung has managed to lock this one up! Can Ozawa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sung Jung on a fantastic submission victory.
