Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Poirier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RZ Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poirier kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ACDC - TNT. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva slips a jab from Poirier.
Poirier throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease.
A jab from Poirier finds it's way through Silva's defenses.
Poirier misses with a straight right.
Poirier swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Silva counters with a nice uppercut.
Poirier throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.
Peter Poirier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva looks to land a right hand but Poirier moved out of range.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Poirier.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Poirier, as that shot connected.

and Silva counters with a one-two to the body.
Poirier throws a hook but Silva avoids it easily.
Silva scores with a jab to the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva's jab looks to have found its range, popping Poirier under the eye.
Silva's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Silva duly obliges.
Poirier shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Poirier misses with a left hand
and Silva counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Poirier has time to react.
Poirier drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
