Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hed pe - Renegade kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Mason!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hunt defending well as Mason loads up on a big left hand.
A swing and a miss from Hunt.
Hunt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mason manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mason throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mason misses with a wild combination.
Mason throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hunt counters with a stiff right hand.
Mason ducks under a wild hook from Hunt.
Mason throws a head kick that misses.
Hunt lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Mark Mason has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hunt throws a body punch but Mason moves out of range.
Mason throws a sloppy head kick and Hunt moves out of range easily.
Mason lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hunt's sensitive parts.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunt scores with a shot to the body.
Mark Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mason. Hunt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mason throws a chopping leg kick but Hunt manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Mason fails in his attempt to clinch.
A slow jab from Mason misses its intended target.
Hunt misses with a series of wild punches.
Hunt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hunt tries to sprawl but Mason drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hunt regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mason.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hunt wants to get back to his feet but Mason is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mason postures up in Hunt's guard and throws a big left but Hunt blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mason accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mason passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Mason taking a breather here.
Hunt can't do much from the bottom here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunt is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Mason in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Mason has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mason fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hunt is trying to get back to half guard.

You can see the frustration on Hunt's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hunt looking for a sweep but Mason has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Hunt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hunt tries to get out of the position.
Mason pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
