PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Huey Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Trott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Leverage - Mister Universe. Trott is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cochise - Audioslave. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Trott lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Freeman throws a hook to the side of Trott's head but Trott sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Both fighters circling a little - Trott finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Freeman finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Jonathan Trott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Freeman crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Trott - the referee stops the clock and Freeman gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Trott. Freeman manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Trott lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
