The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karnak Mandazur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cruz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mandazur tries to avoid it but Cruz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mandazur to the ground. Mandazur escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mandazur cracks Cruz with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Cruz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mandazur finish him?

Cruz stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mandazur.

Mandazur steps in with a hook that catches Cruz right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Mandazur follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Cruz looks absolutely devastated.
