Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knuckle Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martinez comes to the cage accompanied by Puya -- Sal Pa' Fuera. Stone is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gimme Shelter. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
37 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Martinez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 14 - 2, fighting out of London, Knuckle Stone! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Martinez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stone can pounce on him.
Stone throws a nice inside leg kick. Stone scores with a crisp jab that stopped Martinez in his tracks. Martinez misses with a leg kick. Jesus Martinez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martinez slips under a jab from Stone. Stone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Martinez. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Martinez is defended easily by Stone. Stone throws a leg kick but Martinez moved away. Nice jab there from Martinez.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martinez throws a leg kick but Stone sees it coming and moves out of range. Martinez looks to land a right hand but Stone moved out of range. Stone thows a left - swing and a miss! Martinez throws a sloppy head kick and Stone counters with an outside leg kick.
Martinez thows a leg kick but Stone checks it and Stone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Martinez looks to land a left hand but Stone moved out of range nicely. Martinez with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Stone smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A shot to the liver by Martinez. Beautiful body shot. Stone connects with a solid leg kick. Stone tried to score with a low kick but Martinez checks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Martinez checks a leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Martinez misses with an uppercut
and Stone counters with a thumping low kick. Stone thows a left - swing and a miss! Stone connects with a nice looking jab.
Stone throws a leg kick and Martinez counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Stone keeping hold of Martinez's head, controlling as best he can. Stone slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Martinez throws a strike but Stone rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone postures up.
Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Martinez is keeping the position for now. Stone passes easily into side control. Nice work. You can see the frustration on Martinez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Stone tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone wants to stand but Martinez has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Martinez trying to keep a closed guard but Stone is proving a slippery customer.
Stone controls the pace of the fight for a moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Martinez has control of Stone's left arm, preventing Stone from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Knuckle Stone will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Stone slips a jab from Martinez. Stone looks for the body kick but Martinez saw that one coming. Stone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Knuckle Stone seems to be getting the better of the standup. A big right from Stone misses. Stone keeps the fight on the outside. Martinez blocks a jab. Stone misses with a left hand and Martinez counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Martinez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Stone wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martinez thows a huge punch but Stone dodges it nicely.

Stone is staying active underneath Martinez, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stone blocking the ground and pound attempt from Martinez. Stone is not content to let Martinez control the position. Stone is trying to control but can't.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Stone ducks under a wild hook from Martinez. Martinez scores with a jab. Stone acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Martinez counters with a shoot takedown. Stone fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stone keeping moving, preventing Martinez from controlling successfully. Stone is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Martinez works his way to full guard. Good work. Stone sitting in guard, not really doing much. Martinez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Stone wants to control from the top but Martinez keeps moving. Stone wants to get up but he can't break Martinez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Martinez is trying to keep Stone in close.
Martinez working for submissions but it's allowed Stone to get to half guard.
Martinez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Martinez is trying to get back to full guard. Martinez is staying active underneath Stone, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stone wants to stand but Martinez has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Martinez tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Stone has advanced to mount. Uh oh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesus Martinez dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Martinez misses with a takedown attempt - Stone sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Martinez misses with an uppercut
and Stone counters with a lovely straight right hand! Martinez misses with a low kick. A good leg kick by Stone. Martinez throws a leg kick but Stone moved away. Stone scores with a nice head shot. Stone throws a right and a left that both miss. Stone lands with a right hand. Stone jabs Martinez to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martinez throws a head kick but Stone moves out of range.
Martinez thows a body shot but no joy. A telegraphed right hand from Stone misses the target. Martinez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side. Stone lands a leg kick that knocks Martinez off balance momentarily. Martinez pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Martinez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Knuckle Stone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Martinez throws a nice looking combination but Stone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Martinez stuns Stone with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A left lands for Martinez. Martinez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Stone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Martinez closes the distance and clinches up with Stone, looking for a takedown. Martinez pushes Stone against the cage but Stone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Martinez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone misses with a double jab.
A big left from Stone misses. Stone lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This has been an exciting period of action! Stone misses with a double jab.
Martinez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Martinez moves out of range of the body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Stone.
A solid body kick from Stone. Martinez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stone. Martinez thows a leg kick but Stone checks it and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Stone stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Martinez misses with a left hand and Stone counters with a good low kick that Martinez was not able to check. Martinez misses with a wild body shot. Stone throws a looping overhand right but Martinez ducks down to avoid it. Stone takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Stone paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Martinez is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone looks to land a left hand but Martinez moved out of range nicely. Stone throws a quick inside leg kick. That kick from Stone tenderised Martinez's leg. Martinez is trying to keep his angry face on. A big left from Martinez misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martinez.
Martinez looks to land a left hand but Stone moved out of range nicely. A looping hook to the body misses from Martinez. Stone does a little dance to reset his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Martinez misses with a jab to the body
and Stone counters with a lovely straight right hand! The crowd cheers as Stone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Martinez doesn't seem phased though. Stone lets loose with a powerful body kick. Martinez will feel that in the morning.
And that's the end of the fight! Knuckle Stone comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Stone has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
