Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dudley Moorer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane MacLain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacLain comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dudley Moorer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Shane MacLain! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacLain shoots in looking for a takedown. Moorer tries to sprawl out of it but MacLain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moorer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Moorer feints a jab promting MacLain to slip. Moorer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. MacLain slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Moorer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moorer is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Moorer scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. MacLain misses with a series of wild punches.
Moorer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Moorer wants it to stay on the feet. MacLain dives in and grabs Moorer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moorer pushes down on MacLain's head and hops out. Dudley Moorer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane MacLain. MacLain shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Moorer eats them both and turns towards MacLain to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Moorer throws a nice looking combination but MacLain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dudley Moorer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moorer doesn't succeed with the takedown and MacLain counters with an inside leg kick. Moorer scores with a nice head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Moorer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and MacLain counters with a single leg into guard. Moorer didn't expect that.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Moorer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst MacLain is controlling him. MacLain is working Moorer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. MacLain postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. MacLain sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Moorer's guard. MacLain is looking for a kimura but Moorer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for MacLain to get the leverage. MacLain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Moorer's head. Moorer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Moorer tries to land a sweep but no joy. MacLain wants to pass the guard but Moorer is keeping the position. MacLain throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moorer tries to land a sweep but no joy. MacLain working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Moorer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacLain controlling from the top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. MacLain throws a strike but Moorer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. MacLain has his foot on Moorer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moorer works his way back into a safe position though. Moorer trying to control but MacLain is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moorer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. MacLain is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Moorer defends well. MacLain working for a triangle but Moorer defends it easily.
Moorer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Moorer passes MacLain's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MacLain is looking to escape. Moorer keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. MacLain pushes Moorer off looking to stand but Moorer dives back in and keeps control.
Moorer wants to stand up but MacLain is controlling the position.
MacLain looking for a kimura from the bottom but Moorer passes into side control! Moorer advances nicely into full mount. Moorer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moorer wants to control the pace but MacLain is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moorer controlling his opponent. MacLain is squirming around, avoiding Moorer's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dudley Moorer will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
MacLain checks a leg kick. Moorer takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Moorer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. MacLain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. MacLain fails with an attempt to clinch.
Moorer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by MacLain. Moorer misses with an uppercut. MacLain fails miserably with a takedown attempt. MacLain lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Moorer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Moorer wants it to stay on the feet. Moorer misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from MacLain.

and MacLain counters by clinching up. MacLain looking for a takedown. Dudley Moorer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane MacLain. Moorer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacLain gets tackled into the cage by Moorer. Moorer maintains the clinch. MacLain breaks the clinch.
Moorer's jab looks to have found its range, popping MacLain under the eye. MacLain rushes Moorer and presses him up against the cage. Moorer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as MacLain walks away with a smile on his face. Moorer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Moorer throws a right and a left that MacLain avoids nicely. MacLain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. MacLain won't allow Moorer to get back to his feet. MacLain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moorer works some decent striking defense from the bottom. MacLain is looking to work some ground and pound but Moorer has wrist control. MacLain is looking to work some ground and pound but Moorer has wrist control. MacLain throws a strike but Moorer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Moorer advances to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. MacLain has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moorer is working away from the top position though. Moorer is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
MacLain wants to get back to his feet. Moorer tries to pass the half guard into mount. MacLain knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. MacLain is refusing to be controlled, as Moorer sits in half guard. Moorer is really struggling to control MacLain but he's trying to hold on to the position. MacLain is looking to escape. Still in half guard, Moorer seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Dudley Moorer wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Moorer tests MacLain's chin there with a solid looking shot. MacLain is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Moorer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but MacLain manages to avoid it. Moorer tries to sprawl but MacLain drives through with a takedown into half guard. MacLain wants to stand up but Moorer has a hold of him and won't allow it. MacLain throwing shots but Moorer is blocking nicely. MacLain seems to be looking for submissions.
MacLain prevents Moorer from improving his position. MacLain wants to take a breather but Moorer is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moorer regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from MacLain. MacLain trying to control the position from guard on top but Moorer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. MacLain must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. MacLain preventing the sweep. MacLain has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Moorer is proving hard to escape from. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moorer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for MacLain! Moorer looking to control but MacLain is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. MacLain is desperately trying to improve his position but Moorer has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Shane MacLain will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Moorer misses with a wild body shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Moorer. MacLain does a little dance to reset his feet. Moorer is looking to clinch but MacLain is avoiding it.
Moorer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. MacLain looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dudley Moorer is winning the standup battle so far. Some wild striking there from Moorer.
Moorer tries to bum rush MacLain with a series of wild strikes but MacLain uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Moorer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and MacLain counters with a nice body kick. MacLain tries to clinch there but Moorer circles away.
Moorer throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. MacLain has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Moorer finds it's way round the side to connect with MacLain's head. Moorer throws a sloppy head kick letting MacLain counter with a right hand. MacLain changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moorer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. MacLain working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Both fighters are breathing heavily. MacLain goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Moorer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for MacLain but great work by Moorer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moorer wants to control but MacLain is keeping him busy. MacLain struggling a bit here. Moorer trying to control the action but MacLain is working from the bottom. Moorer tries to move into full mount but can't pass MacLain's legs. MacLain is looking for a sweep. MacLain is letting Moorer control him for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moorer prevents MacLain from escaping the position. MacLain tries to bench press Moorer off him but Moorer keeps the position. Moorer tries to advance to mount but MacLain denies him. Moorer trying to control the position but MacLain is working away. Moorer taking a breather here. MacLain tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Moorer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Moorer moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Moorer gets back to half guard. MacLain drops an elbow to the side of Moorer's head. MacLain prevents Moorer from standing back up.
MacLain throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. MacLain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Moorer's head. Moorer kicks off MacLain and gets to his feet. Moorer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but MacLain circles away quickly and effectively. MacLain avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Moorer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Moorer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. MacLain is trying to pull guard but Moorer turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. MacLain lands with a right to the head. Good body shot from MacLain.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. MacLain has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Moorer clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! MacLain lands punches and elbows.
And that's the end of the fight! Shane MacLain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think MacLain has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
