Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bayden Wood Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Koscheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wood Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Roy jones jr......cant b touched. Josh Koscheck told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bayden Wood Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Koscheck!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Koscheck drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Koscheck trying to control the action but Wood Jr is working from the bottom.
Wood Jr is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Koscheck's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Wood Jr is trying to control but can't.
Koscheck wants to free his trapped foot but Wood Jr is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Koscheck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wood Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wood Jr is looking for a sweep. Koscheck is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wood Jr moves into full guard.
Koscheck preventing the sweep.
Wood Jr trying to keep a closed guard but Koscheck is proving a slippery customer.
Koscheck wants to control from the top but Wood Jr keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wood Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wood Jr is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wood Jr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wood Jr prevents Koscheck from improving his position.
Wood Jr stops Koscheck from getting back to his feet.
Wood Jr is looking to advance position but Koscheck won't allow it.
Wood Jr thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Koscheck's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wood Jr is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Koscheck is defending against the submission attempts here by Wood Jr.

Wood Jr in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Koscheck tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Wood Jr!
