The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Burgess Meredith has been cut.
Meredith tries to clinch
and Stevens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Meredith shoots for a takedown but Stevens saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Meredith fails with the takedown
and Stevens counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Stevens drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Meredith right on the button. Meredith goes down! Stevens follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Stevens gets the win via TKO!
