Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Hughes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hughes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hughes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lee postures up in Hughes's guard and throws a big left but Hughes blocks it.

Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lee won't allow Hughes to get back to his feet.
Lee controls from within his opponent's guard.
Lee landing some decent shots from guard.

Lee works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lee looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Lee is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hughes!
Lee postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hughes looks a forlorn figure.
Lee won't let Hughes get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lee looking to isolate an arm here. Hughes doesn't see it coming and as Lee extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Lee!
