The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langers tests Overeem's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Overeem moves to clinch but Langers breaks away
and Langers counters with a body kick that stops Overeem in his tracks momentarily.
Langers cracks Overeem with an open hand slap.
Overeem wants to clinch.
Alistar Overeem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overeem tries to close the distance and clinch but Langers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Langers lands with a nice body punch.
Langers scores with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Langers fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Langers throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Overeem.
Overeem tries to close the distance and clinch but Langers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Langers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Langers lands with an uppercut that bounces Overeem off the cage and back into range.
Langers lands with a straight right. Overeem didn't see that one coming.
Langers throws a sloppy head kick and Overeem moves out of range easily.
Overeem moves in looking to clinch but Langers pushes him off.
Langers bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Overeem's head backwards.
Overeem tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Overeem is looking to clinch but Langers is avoiding it.

Overeem tries to clinch up.
That kick from Langers tenderised Overeem's leg. Overeem is trying to keep his angry face on.
Langers lands a nice looking kick to the body. Overeem takes a step back to recover.
Overeem looks winded!
Langers fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Langers lands with a kick to the ribs.
Overeem has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Langers.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Langers lands a nice hook to Overeem's body. Overeem takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Langers connects with a nice looking jab.
Jab, jab by Langers - just one landing.
Whack! Langers lands a heavy head kick that drops Overeem. The ref tackles Langers to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Overeem was done.
