Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Barrerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Sandahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sandahl has chosen Neil Young - Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black) as his entrance music. Dave Barrerra had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Sandahl scores with a four punch combination! Barrerra looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Barrerra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sandahl sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Sandahl is trying to control but can't.
Sandahl is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Barrerra is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Sandahl reverses the position - he's now on top in Barrerra's guard. Sandahl thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Let's hope that Sandahl has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
