Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Justin Martens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Martens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blake Mac! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac misses with a series of wild punches.
Mac ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Martens moves away. Martens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mac's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mac duly obliges. Mac connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Martens's hands. Martens slips under a jab. Mac waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Martens. Mac fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mac tries to close the distance and clinch but Martens swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mac throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Martens lands a nice looking body shot.
Martens throws a head kick that half lands.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Martens fails to land with a series of punches.

Mac throws a looping overhand right but Martens ducks down to avoid it. Mac is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Martens. Martens slips a jab from Mac. Mac tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A nice combination there by Martens.
It looks like Blake Mac has been cut. Martens rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mac moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Martens lands with a hook. Mac tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac falls off balance throwing a combination
and Martens counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Martens avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mac looks gassed! Martens lands a jab to Mac's midsection. Martens scores with a nice body kick.
Martens moves into range and clinches up with Mac. Martens lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Martens decides to stand up. Mac takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Martens moves into the clinch successfully.
Martens has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mac uses from the top position. Martens working for a triangle but Mac defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Martens is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martens working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mac. Martens looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Martens trying to keep a closed guard but Mac is proving a slippery customer.
Mac throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mac postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mac trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mac is looking to work some ground and pound but Martens has wrist control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mac misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mac tries to keep at a distance but Martens has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Martens lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Martens. Martens dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mac. That did some damage! Mac with a poor takedown and Martens counters with a single leg into guard. Mac didn't expect that. Martens pushing down on Mac's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mac wants to improve his position but Martens is controlling well.
Martens moves nicely into side control.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Martens tries for a kimura but Mac is defending well. Mac takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Martens decides to take the fight back to the feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mac tries to keep at a distance but Martens has taken the fight into the clinch. Martens has picked Mac up - he's going for a ride! Martens dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mac moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Martens content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Martens dominated that round. The cut man is working on Blake Mac's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Martens circles away from the clinch attempt and Martens counters with a good, hard body kick but Mac shrugs it off. Mac misses with a series of wild punches.
Blake Mac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice combination there by Martens.
Mac wants to clinch and Martens counters with a three punch combo that has Mac backing up. Mac nods at Martens to acknowledge the strikes. A combination from Martens does no damage. Mac looks to clinch and Mac takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mac closes the distance but Martens moves to the side and Martens moves into the clinch. Mac prevents the takedown attempt.
Mac is breathing heavily. Mac is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mac is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Martens pulls him back up using the underhooks. Martens is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mac can't fight it off and eventually Martens manages to take the fight to the floor. Mac looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Martens passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac tries to bench press Martens off him but Martens keeps the position. Martens decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mac to his feet. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Martens!
Martens looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Martens decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Martens shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mac as he avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mac has a takedown stuffed. Mac tries for a takedown but Martens circles away easily and Martens counters with a nice double leg into guard. Justin Martens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blake Mac. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mac is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Martens trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mac trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Mac doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Mac has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Martens distracts Mac with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Martens sitting in guard here, content to control. Martens stands and steps away. Mac gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mac throws a nice looking combination but Martens bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Justin Martens is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Martens drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mac tries to buck Martens off but Martens is having none of it. Mac is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Martens decides to stand back up. Martens steps back and let's Mac get back to his feet. Mac falls off balance throwing a combination
and Martens counters with a one-two to the body. Martens slips a straight right by Mac. Martens gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mac is trying to break the clinch but Martens has him pressed against the cage. Martens is trying to trip Mac. He has hold of a leg but Mac is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Martens persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Mac wants to sweep here but Martens controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Martens manages to get himself to full guard.
Martens uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Martens moves into the clinch. Mac tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Martens just stands there and leans against the cage. Mac has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Martens is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Martens breaks the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mac clinches but Martens breaks the clinch and Martens counters by moving into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mac wants to clinch but Martens slips to the side and Martens counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Martens rushes Mac and presses him up against the cage. Martens breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Martens misses with a double jab
and Mac counters with a one-two to the body. Mac gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Martens counters with a low kick, right behind Mac 's knee. Martens decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Martens stands up from half guard. Martens closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mac using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Martens has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Martens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Martens lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Martens throws a nice inside leg kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Martens throws a right and a left that Mac avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac misses with a takedown and Martens counters by moving into the clinch. Mac tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Martens tightens his grip and picks Mac up, before dumping him to the ground. Mac manages to land in guard. Mac uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Martens fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mac. Martens lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Mac thuds a left hand into Martens's body. Martens thows a body shot but no joy. Mac throws a jab but it's blocked by Martens. Martens looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mac tries for a takedown but Martens circles away easily and Martens counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Justin Martens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blake Mac. Martens has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mac regains guard immediately.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mac doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Mac trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Mac has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Martens has passed into side control.
Mac looking for a sweep but Martens has passed into full mount! Oh no! Justin Martens overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Martens manages to capitalize on a mistake by Mac to take his back! Martens is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mac manages to reverse the position and now he's in Martens's guard. Nice work there by Mac.

Mac wanted to stand there but Martens had control of the position. Mac won't allow Martens to get back to his feet. Martens trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mac thows a big elbow that misses. Martens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mac can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Martens is looking to stand up but Mac isn't so interested in that idea. Mac throwing strikes but missing. Blake Mac has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Martens is trying to keep Mac in close.
Justin Martens is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Martens blocks a jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Justin Martens showed his dominance in that final round. Well Martens has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
