Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jz Imada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tungh Pungh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jz Imada had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pungh pushes Imada up against the cage in a clinch.
Imada has Pungh pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pungh manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Imada wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pungh has him pressed against the cage.

Imada lands a left and a right that sends Pungh crashing to the canvas! Imada dives into mount looking to finish!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Imada goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pungh turns into him and now he's in Imada's guard.
Pungh is still in real trouble! Can Imada finish him?

Pungh seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Imada does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pungh jumps guard and drags Imada to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pungh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Imada thows a big elbow that misses.

Pungh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Imada gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Imada knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pungh on the ground.
Pungh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Imada keeps working.

Imada dodges the ground and pound from Pungh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Pungh tries to bum rush Imada with a series of wild strikes but Imada uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Imada throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pungh.
Imada rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pungh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Imada throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pungh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A left and a right from Imada both land. Nice combination.

Pungh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pungh manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Pungh is looking to control Imada's arms but Imada gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pungh has his back to the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jz Imada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Imada throws a hook to the side of Pungh's head but Pungh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Imada cracks Pungh with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Imada has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pungh to stand back up!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jz Imada will probably get the nod.

Imada rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pungh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Pungh feints and as Imada raises his hands in defense, Pungh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pungh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pungh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee warns Imada that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Tungh Pungh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pungh has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
