Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mirko Filipovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Chandler!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Chandler or perhaps it was just good defense by Filipovic which made him look bad.
Chandler looking to score a takedown here. Filipovic is defending well but Chandler drives through and ends up in Filipovic's guard.
Chandler prevents Filipovic from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chandler works over Filipovic with some ground and pound from guard.
Chandler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Chandler works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Filipovic looks like he's trying to stand up.
Filipovic has hold of Chandler's hands but Chandler slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Chandler lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chandler is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Filipovic!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Filipovic is bucking up trying to escape but Chandler cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Filipovic is rocked!
Chandler loads up with a big shot that hurts Filipovic! He's pulled Chandler in close but Chandler has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Filipovic survive? More strikes from Chandler and Filipovic is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ryan Chandler!
A very excited looking Ryan Chandler made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
